Community Improvement
The provision of idendepent living services empowers indivduals with dsabilities increasing the ability of these individuals to obtain needed information and services to enchance the opportunity for greater levels of productivity resulting in higher levels of integration and inclusion in the community.

Funding
Society for Equal Access is funded in party by the Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC), Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Area Agency on Aging (AAA9) and numerous other contract within the community.

Overview
Society for Equal Access Independent Living Center has been in operation since April of 1990. Society for Equal Access is a consumer controlled, cross disability, private not for profit organization operated by indviduals with disabilities for individuals with disabilities. Society for Equal Access currently provides services to residents of Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson and Tuscarawas counties in Ohio.

Purposes
1) Help individuals with disabilities live independently.
2) Serve the coummunity by helping to create and enviroment that is accessible for everyone.
